Split existing lot
Most land divisions start with a pre-application meeting, including planned unit developments, minor subdivisions, rural land divisions, and resolving illegal land divisions. Two division types do not require a pre-application meeting:
Family Farm Division is used to separate a less than or equal to (≤) 7-acre lot from a 70-acre or larger family farm or ranch with an existing family home in the A zone district outside of a subdivision or townsite.
Public Facility Division is used to separate a lot for a public facility, such as for a lift station or transformer. The applicant must be a public utility provider.
