Adult Protection

Adult Protective Services (APS) provides protection for at-risk adults by investigating allegations of abuse, exploitation, caretaker neglect and self neglect.

The Weld County Area Agency on Aging (AAA), located in the Department of Human Services, receives funding from the Federal Older Americans Act and the Older Coloradoans Fund to provide services to Weld County residents who are 60 and older.

Health and Wellness

Weld Aging Well Program was established in correlation with the Administration on Aging’s Health, Prevention, and Wellness Program to focus on the utilization of evidence-based self-management programs.

Nutrition

The Senior Nutrition Program provides nutritious and delicious noon-time meals for seniors. Social and educational opportunities are also available before and after meals.
