The Weld County Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce that Gastown Campground, LLC, has received $6,260.71 through the county’s Small Business Incentive Program. Launched in 2014, this initiative supports and uplifts local businesses that enhance the economic vitality and community spirit of Weld County.

The Weld County Board of Commissioners is committed to fostering economic growth and helping businesses succeed within the county. To support this goal, Weld County introduced the Small Business Incentive Program in 2014. This program provides eligible businesses in unincorporated Weld County with financial assistance to cover costs associated with land use, building permits, and various impact fees. By reducing these upfront expenses, the program creates a more favorable environment for business development and sustainability.

So far, the program has awarded $447,375.60 to over 20 businesses throughout Weld County.

“We are thrilled to assist another small business here in Weld County,” stated Commissioner Chair Kevin Ross. “This program’s main goal is to support the entrepreneurial spirit of small businesses as they contribute stability to our economy, and we want to encourage business growth.”
