New building at Southeast County Service Center

The Weld County Board of Commissioners is pleased to invite the public to a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of the opening of a new building in the Southeast County Service Center. The facility is set to provide services to the community in a more modern and accessible environment. It will house the Public Health Services Clinic, Motor Vehicle Department, and Probation Services Department.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the new facility located at 2960 9th Street in Fort Lupton. The event will include remarks from elected and county officials, a tour of the public health clinic, and an opportunity to meet the staff who will be serving the community from this new location.

“The new building will not only meet the expanding demand for services in the southeastern part of the county, but it will also ensure that residents have access to the resources closer to where they are needed in a convenient and welcoming environment,” said Kevin Ross, Weld County Commissioner Chair.

The Public Health Services Clinic will offer a range of health services, including immunizations, health screenings, and family planning. The Motor Vehicle Department will handle all vehicle registration and titling needs, and the Probation Services Department will provide essential support for individuals on probation.

The board hopes that members of the community can join in the ceremony to celebrate this significant milestone and exciting new chapter for Weld County.
