It’s no secret the job market is tight; companies and government entities alike are competing to add qualified individuals to their teams.
“A lot of businesses are struggling to recruit employees, and the same is true for government. We’re in an extremely competitive job market,” said Weld County Director of Administrative Services Ryan Rose.
To assist in drawing more qualified applicants to its job offerings, Weld County Government is utilizing the LinkedIn platform to not only share county projects but also highlight the benefits of working for the county.
“We have a longstanding tradition of providing competitive pay and benefits along with a supportive work environment for our employees,” said Rose.
Currently, Weld County Government has 40 job opportunities. The county’s goal of increasing its use of LinkedIn is to engage with that audience and invite qualified candidates to apply to join the county team.
“To use a cliché, it’s just another tool in our toolbox,” said Rose. “But it’s an important tool that we hope will bring results.”
