Fourth Weld County Telephone Town Hall Monday

The fourth Weld County Telephone Town Hall will be on Monday, October 19, at 5:00 p.m. During this time, residents can listen to county updates regarding COVID-19 as well as the business recovery program, which is also related to COVID-19.

“As we head into the seventh month of this pandemic, the board continues to utilize different avenues to communicate with residents about COVID-19 in Weld County.” said Commissioner Chair Mike Freeman. “We hope residents join the call on Monday and hear updates from the commissioners as well as ask questions regarding county business.”

Topics for the October Telephone Town Hall will include an update on the Health Department, the COVID-19 data dashboard and the Weld Recovery Fund for businesses.

Everyone is invited to call in and listen as well as ask questions during the event, which is anticipated to last for an hour. To participate, call (877) 229-8493 and enter code 119533.

Vekeo, the vendor providing the telephone town hall service, will initiate calls to some Weld County residents just prior to the event starting on Monday. Vekeo accesses phone numbers from Weld County registered voter lists and will randomly select 52,000 phone numbers to call for the event. All county residents, however, are invited to call in and participate.

Mark your calendars for the next Telephone Town Hall on Monday, November 16, at 5:00 p.m. More information will be sent closer to this date.
