Vibrant images, a modern layout and an events calendar are some of the new features visitors to the Discover Weld website will notice on June 1 when the site debuts it’s new look. “This website has evolved over the years to become a resource for residents and visitors alike,” said Commissioner Chair Julie Cozad. “The Board is excited this project has become such a positive platform for Weld County.” The Discover Weld website launched in May of 2013 with the goal of highlighting Weld County’s people, places and events. “This site and its social media platforms have become an outlet for positive information to be shared and promoted statewide,” said Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer. In fact, Discover Weld’s reach extends well beyond the state lines as it has received visitors from every state in the country as well as 115 nations across the world. “We hope the new website draws in even more visitors who want to learn about Weld County and then come and visit our museums, hike on our trails, and enjoy our events,” said Cozad.
