Annual Town and County Meeting

The Weld County Board of Commissioners will meet with elected officials from all incorporated Weld County municipalities Thursday, October 19, at 7:00 p.m. at the annual Town and County meeting. The meeting will be held in the Events Room in the Weld County Administration Building located at 1150 O Street in Greeley.

Held every October, this meeting provides an opportunity for elected officials to come together with the Board to discuss any concerns they may have as well as share any good news regarding town projects or achievements.

According to the Weld County Charter, the Board of Commissioners must meet with municipal leaders no less than three times a year. Such meetings help ensure regular and open communication among the government agencies. Other yearly meetings this year include, the HWY 85 coalition, the North I-25 coalition, and the Bullseye Mayors Meeting, and many others.

The meeting is open to the public. Anyone is welcome to come and listen to the updates and news on various projects throughout the county.

“It’s always good to visit with officials from across Weld County,” County Chair Julie Cozad said. “The Town and County meeting is special, however, as it provides an opportunity for all of our municipal representatives to meet with each other at one event and catch up on local news and information.”
