Health First Colorado is Colorado’s free or low-cost public health insurance program for those who qualify. It helps cover doctor visits, emergency care, preventive care like screenings and immunizations, and many other treatments and services. The program is funded through a federal-state partnership and managed by the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing.

For individuals needing long-term care, The Case Management Agency helps to simplify access to multiple programs, including the Home Care Allowance program. Professional care managers assess needs, coordinate services, create care plans, and connect clients and families to helpful community resources. These services support people of all ages who require long-term assistance through public programs.

Additional support is available for Medicare beneficiaries through programs like Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB), Special Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB), and more.

Health First Colorado (Medicaid) is free or low cost public health insurance for Coloradans who qualify.
