The Old Age Pension program provides financial and may provide medical assistance to Colorado residents who are in need and have reached the minimum age of 60.
Old Age Pension supplies full Medicaid coverage and supplements income up to a maximum of 952.00 per month, effective January 1, 2023.
Resource limits for this program are $2,000.00 for a single individual and $3,000.00 for a couple.
Exempt assets include a primary residence and one automobile.
Some life insurance and pre-need funeral contracts are also not counted.

Some Old Age Pension recipients may not be eligible for long-term care programs such as nursing home care and the Home Community Based Services program.
