Resources for Regulated Sources

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Air Pollution Control Division (CDPHE-APCD) regulates and enforces federal and state regulations regarding air quality and air pollution, to include the issuance and regulation of sources of air pollutants within the state. The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment is a contracted representative of the Air Pollution Control Division. As a contracted representative, Weld County is authorized to conduct regulatory compliance actions for emission sources (permitted and unpermitted) within Weld County to include inspections, complaint response, and initiate enforcement at the state level.
