Weld County Public Works (1111 H Street, Greeley, CO 80631)

1. Call to Order: Chair Wharton called the meeting to order at 3:07 pm. Other Committee members present were A.J. Krieger, Jodi Hartmann, Janet Meisel-Burns, Cheryl Powell, and Dean Moyer. A quorum was present.
2. Chair Wharton asked for review of the January 6, 2024 minutes and if there are any amendments. Seeing none, Committee Member Powell made a motion to approve the minutes as presented and was seconded by Committee Member Hartmann. The motion passed unanimously.
3. Ms. Martin presented the reports for the current projects. Staff went over the project list and provided a status update.
4. Staff presented the 2024 grant applications spreadsheet to the Committee. Weld County received six applications. Of the six applications, three of them are from communities who have not previously submitted in past cycles. The applications are from Ault, Erie, Platteville, Eaton, Evans, and Firestone. The Advisory Committee will receive presentations from the applicants at their March meeting.
5. Other Business – No additional business was discussed.
6. The CDBG Advisory Committee meeting adjourned at 3:43 p.m.

The next meeting is scheduled for March 6, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Department of Planning Services, Conference Room A, 1402 North 17th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631.
