What does the application process look like?

1. Complete a Small Business Incentive Program Application form(PDF, 247KB) available online or in-person at the Weld County Department of Planning Services (1402 N. 17th Ave., Greeley).
2.  Email completed form to deisenbraun@weld.gov or you can mail the completed application to the attention of David Eisenbraun, Director of Planning Services:1402 N. 17th Avenue, PO Box 758, Greeley, CO 80632. There is no application or processing fee.
3. The Planning Services Director will review all requests and make a recommendation to the Weld County Board of Commissioners who will provide approval/denial.

Approval is based on the following:

• Submittal of a business plan. Documentation that the business owner has consulted with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). You can visit the center at their location in Greeley (800 17th Street Kempner Hall #0025 Greeley, CO 80631) or by calling (970) 351-4274.

• Funds shall be distributed on a first-come first-served basis. All applications are confidential and at the full discretion of the Weld County Board of County Commissioners. Applicant must be current on all county taxes prior to receiving funds. The Weld County Board of Commissioners or its designee has sole authority to determine the eligibility of proposed business.
